Blasting My Way to Resale

Repaired Husky Pressure Washer at Work

I nearly exploded with joy after seeing how well Chris’s pressure washer scoured the fence to like-new condition with just a few sweeps. It was like one of those late-night television commercials where Product X (NEW!) magically scours away dirt, grime, and memories of your divorce in seconds, except that it’s real. At nearly 1800 PSI, the dirt, mold, and rotted wood is simply blasted away, leaving a clean yellow that could almost have come straight from Home Depot. The pleasure was compounded by all the hard work I put into fixing the washer.

I’ve rebuild the pump, fixed the plastic air cowling several times, and replaced the hose and wand. It turns out it was probably the *last*, easiest, and cheapest step that fixed it, but it’s all back together now and I can prep the outside of the house for paint!
